Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Victory Baptist Church in Fullerton, with Phil Tilson officiating. Burial will be in the Fullerton Cemetery. Palmer Funeral Home in Fullerton is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Milby was born on April 17, 1926, in Fullerton to Maurice and Muriel (Mason) Myers. She married Dale Milby on May 17, 1947, in Hastings. He preceded her in death. Survivors of the immediate family include one son and daughter-in-law, Martin and Priscialla Milby of Fullerton; and three daughters and two sons-in-law, Cheryl Still of Elm Creek, Connie and Gary Loseke of Fullerton and Marla and Stephen Bush of Lincoln. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and their spouses, Alison Ganow, Celeste (Greg) Hall, Kalli (Clay) Methe, Kevin Loseke, Jessica Milby, Matthew Milby, Meesha (Jon) Vollertson, Mindy (John) Buterbaugh and Beth (Shane) Humrnyik; 15 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was the oldest of three children. She attended grade school at District 16, Liberty Knoll School. She graduated from Fullerton High School with the Class of 1943. Her youth was spent on her parents’ farm, across the road from the farm that her grandfather, Henry J. Mason, homesteaded. Following high school and her completion of normal training, she was a rural school teacher at Nance County District 55 for four years. She and her husband farmed their entire married life, and she was a resident of Nance County her entire life. She and Dale loved to garden and always had extensive vegetable and flower gardens. She was a former 4-H leader and Sunday school teacher. She belonged to South Side Circle Extension Club, Ladies Home Circle, Fullerton Flower Belles and Central City Dirt Daubers, and was a former board member of the Nance County Historical Society. She was active in the Evangelical United Bretheren Church until it closed and had been attending Victory Baptist Church since it started. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; one sister, Alice Sprague; one brother, Harold Myers; and one son-in-law, Terry Still.
