Read More	Obit - Van Wert Times Bulletin - February 19, 1981 Fort Recovery - Funeral services were have been held today for Mary Edith Rosengarten, 80, of Fort Recovery, in Mary Help of Christians Church in Fort Recovery. Burial was to have been in Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. Mrs. Rosengarten died at 10 a.m. Thursday in Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater where she had been a resident for several years. She was born March 7, 1900, in St. Marys, the daughter of Frank and Maude (Baker) Hankins. In 1927, she married William Kendall. He died in 1953. She then married Arnold Rosengarten. He preceded her in death in 1979. Survivors include two daughters, Carmen McMadden of Midway, Calif. And Mrs. Paul (Mona) Nagel of Wapakoneta; a step son, Ronald Rosengarten of Celina; two set-daughters, Mrs. Fred (Shirley) Haines of Van Wert, and Mrs. Tom Clay of Mendon; nine grandchildren and eight great-children. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. She operated a beauty shop in St. Marys for about 25 years and was the operator of A-Jar in Fort Recovery for 30 years. Mrs. Rosengarten was a member of Coldwater American Legion auxiliary, the Eagle Auxiliary in Wapakoneta, and disabled American Veterans Auxiliary in Portland, Ind. She was also a member of Mary Help of Christians Church. The Brockman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery was in charge of arrangements.
