Mrs. Kitching took a cold which gradually developed into double pneumonia. Mrs. Kitching was a most faithful and loving wife and mother, and Mr. Kitching and his three boys and three girls, from 17 years old to three years old, will sorely miss her. Mrs. Kitching, known before her marriage as Ella Richardson, was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richardson, of Puslinch township, near Guelph, Ontario, where she was married in June, 1911, to Mr. Kitching. They came out in July, 1911,, to Alberta, where Mr. Kitching worked for years on the Experimental Farm, and on the late Senator Talbots farm, Lacombe, coming seven years ago to Red Deer, where he has been in the milk delivery business. Mrs. Kitching was very loyal to the church work, and a most helpful friend and neighbor. She leaves three sisters and two brothers--Mrs. Betty Sadler, Miniota, Man.; Mrs. T.W. Fox, Guelph, Ont.; Mrs. H.B. Gibson, Edmonton, Alta.; Mr. Harry Richardson, Red Deer; Mr. Peter Richardson, Puslinch township, near Guelph, Ont. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richardson, her parents, and Mrs. Ruth Wharton, her aunt, arrived on Sunday from Guelph, Ont., for the funeral on Monday afternoon. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon from the United Church, Red Deer, and it was very largely attended to show the universal sympathy of the community with Mr. Kitching and his girls and boys in their sore bereavement. The serviced was conducted by the pastor, Rev. D. Whyte Smith, and Rev. I.H. Eberle, whose fathers home Mr. and Mrs. Kitching had visited on their honeymoon, assisted.
