Read More	The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Fri, Feb 19, 1926 - Pg 1 Mary Elizabeth Atterbery was born in Macoupin County, Illinois, Febraury 12, 1852. At the age of six she removed with her parents to Macon County, were she grew to young womanhood and where in February, 1870 she was married to William Mallory. To this union were born three children, Mrs. Ed. Brooks, and Mrs. August Mileger of Edgar and Mr. Tom Mallory of Marysville, Kans. She came to Nebraska in September, 1883 and settled on a farm 3 miles south of Edgar, where she resided until she removed to this place, twenty-two years ago. after coming to Nebraska, she confessed her faith in Christ and united with the Evangelical Church at Angus, later transferring her membership to the Baptist Church at Edgar with which denomination she remained affiliated up to the time of her death. She passed on Thursday, February 11, 1926 at her home in Edgar, her husband having preceded her nearly two years before. At the time of her death she was 73 years, 11 months and 29 days old. She leaves to mourn her loss, two daughters, one son, thirty-one grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. A. D. Brown of this place, three brother, H. T. Atterby of Waverly, Washington, W. C. of Weiser, Idaho and T. E of Kingsville, Missouri and many friends. Mrs. Mallory was an indulgent mother and grandmother, and gave the last years of her life in caring for a family of grandchildren. As the Lord said "She hath done what she could." Funeral Services were conducted from her late home at Edgar, Nebraska, Saturday, February 13, 1926, at 2:00 o'clock p.m., with Charles A.
