Description	:	OBIT: Mary Elizabeth Bull, 78, of Ellensburg, died Friday, August 6 1993 at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital in Ellensburg. She was born on September 30, 1914 in Granum Alberta, Canada, a daughter of John Ira and Ella Jane (Crawford) Dimm. Mrs. Bull attended Balquhidder School, a rural school, from the first through eighth grade and she graduated from high school in Granum, Alberta, Canada. She was born on September 30, 1914 in Granum Alberta, Canada, a daughter of John Ira and Ella Jane (Crawford) Dimm. Mrs. Bull attended Balquhidder School, a rural school, from the first through eighth grade and she graduated from high school in Granum, Alberta, Canada. She then received her teaching certificate from the Normal School in Calgary, Alberta. She taught in the county school in Granum before moving to Ellensburg on December, 24, 1939. Mrs. Bull and John A. Bull, Jr. were married on May 11, 1940 at the First Methodist Church in Ellensburg. She became a U. S. citizen, May 21 1948. Mary worked for B. E. S. Tiffany Insurance Agency in Ellensburg for several years. During World War II, she and her children accompanied her husband, a U. S. Navy Flight instructor, to various assignments throughout the United States. Returning home after the war, she joined her husband in a farming enterprise and for a number of years managed more than 100 dairy cows. After retirement, she did volunteer teaching through a campus program at Central Washington University. For the past 10 years, she and her husband have owned and operated Bull's Gourmet Foods. Mrs. Bull was instrumental in developing and maintaining the business. Mrs. Bull was a member of several local bridge clubs. Survivors include her husband John A. Bull, Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, John Bull III and Suzanne Bull, all of Ellensburg; a daughter, Margaret Jane Bull; and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Bull, sister Ruthanna Dimm Kilpatrick and grandson Conrad John Bull. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, August 16, 1993 at Steward & Williams Chapel in Ellensburg. Rev. Frank Johnson will officiate.
