Read More	Published in The Red Deer Advocate, Red Deer, Alberta MORGAN Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Morgan of Walsh, Alberta passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 15, 2005 at the age of 78 years. Mary was born on December 9, 1927 at Bulwark, near Coronation, Alberta. She grew up in the Pine Lake area and moved to Red Deer as a young adult. On May 26, 1948, Mary was united in marriage to Bill Morgan. She lived in Red Deer until 1999, when she moved south to be closer to her great grandchildren. Mary was a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was an outgoing and spirited lady who loved square dancing, golfing, and curling. Before her husband Bill's passing, Mary and Bill loved to entertain, and spent many happy years square dancing and calling square dances around the local area, as well as camping with the Red Hatters. She also loved curling and participated in the Winter Games and also in zones. Mary kept busy with family, friends and activities. Mary's greatest pleasure was being able to enjoy her great grandchildren. She loved having little tea parties with her great granddaughter, Samantha and took special pride in watching her newborn great granddaughter of eight months, Clarissa, growing and learning. Our dearest Mary will be very deeply and sadly missed, but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and many dear friends. Mary leaves to mourn her loss, her loving daughter, Pat Morgan of Lethbridge, Alberta, her granddaughter, Sandra (Dean) Jamieson and her cherished great granddaughters, Samantha and Clarissa. She will also be very sadly missed by her three brothers, John, Roy (Molly) and Rex Hawkins, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, William (Bill) Morgan. A Public Celebration of Mary's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to the Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Medicine Hat, Alberta. If desired, Memorial Donations in Mary's honour may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 6, 5015-48th Street, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 1S9 or to a Charity of the donor's choice.
