Description	:	Obit: Mary E. O'Meara, 79, a lifelong resident of the Central City area, died June 27 at a Cedar Rapids hospital. She was born the daughter of Thomas and Eva Neal Kearns on February 24, 1895 near Central City. In 1915, she was married to Frank G. O'Meara, who died May 6, 1953 at Central City. Mrs. O'Meara was a member of the United Methodist church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Frances) Sebern of Marion and Mrs. Mary Evenson of Central City; a son, Ben O'Meara of Central City; 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Clara... Mrs. O'Meara was a member of the United Methodist church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Frances) Sebern of Marion and Mrs. Mary Evenson of Central City; a son, Ben O'Meara of Central City; 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Clara Cropp of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Ruth Williamson of Central City and Mrs. Maxine Stanley of Cross Lake, Minnesota; and a brother, Ira Kearns of Davenport. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Services were 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29 at the United Methodist church in Central City, conducted by the Rev. John Rosenberger. Interment was in Mt. Clark cemetery. Friends may if they wish contribute to the Cancer Society as a memorial. Murdoch Funeral Home in Central City had charge of the arrangements.
