On Aug. 20, 1897, she was married to George Bert Foster. To this union seven children were born, five of whom are living. They are Mrs. Lena Larimer of Russell; Evelyn Foster of Des Moines; Eugene Foster of Rockford, Ill.; Richard Foster of Rockford, Ill,; Mrs. Maxine Ruben of Albia. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Ada Gross of Aurora, Ill.;, and Mrs. Carrie Ragan of rural Albia. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Wanda, and a son, Lessie Theodore, and husband in Sept. 1960. Funeral services were held at the Downs Funeral Home in Albia Sept. 23, 1966 with burial at Bethel cemetery in Lucas county.
