Funeral Held at Silver Creek Sunday Afternoon. Mrs. James A. Robinson died at her home in West Manchester Friday, Sept. 2, 1932, after a long period of illness. Funeral services were held at the Silver Creek church, Sunday afternoon, Rev. E.D. Wells of this city having charge of the services. Burial was made in the Silver Creek cemetery. Mary Montgomery, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Montgomery, was born in Lismaska, county Ferdinand, Ireland, June 22, 1874, and passed away at the age of 58 years. At the age of 16 years she and other friends from Ireland came from the United States, and settled in the Silver Creek neighborhood, where she worked for several families. Her marriage to James A. Robinson took place in 1894. To this union were born ten children, as follows: Mrs. Maurice Duggan and Lewis Robinson of Ryan; Mrs. John Hahesy and Mrs. Chas. Lemrond and Glen Robinson of Manchester; Mrs. Ray Hutchinson of Masonville; Robert and Victor Robinson of Schaller, Ia.; and Mrs. M. J. Arduser of Seattle, Washington. One son died in infancy. Mrs. Robinson is survived by the children named, the husband, one brother, William, and one sister in Ireland, and 16 grandchildren, who mourn the loss of a devoted wife, mother, and sister. Mrs. Robinson had been a devoted wife and mother, and during the years of illness was tenderly cared for by the husband and children. She was devoted to the members of her household, and while in good health often ministered to those in need. The sympathy of many friends goes out to the stricken family in their sorrow.
