Description	:	Mrs. George J. Hamilton died at the home of her son William Hamilton, Sunday, at the age of 79 years. She had been ill for a long time and a fall, which resulted in a broken hip, hurried her death. Shock following the burning of the Hamilton home a couple of weeks ago also had a depressing effect on her condition. Mary Elizabeth Hamilton, daughter of James and Ellen Queeney, was born in Ireland, November, 1856 and came to the United States with her parents at the age of 2 years. Shock following the burning of the Hamilton home a couple of weeks ago also had a depressing effect on her condition. Mary Elizabeth Hamilton, daughter of James and Ellen Queeney, was born in Ireland, November, 1856 and came to the United States with her parents at the age of 2 years. The family settled at Connersville, Indiana and a year or so later moved to Erie, Illinois where Mrs. Hamilton grew to womanhood. She was married there to Mr. Hamilton on December 27, 1877. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her husband and six children, Mrs. Dale Smith of Randolph, Mrs. Leo Tobin of Tecumseh, Will of Albion, Viola of Columbus and Miss Etta and Melvin at home. There are two brothers, Will Queeney of Gilmore, Idaho and M. J. Queeney of Randolph, and two sisters, Mrs. John Arkfield, Norfolk and Mrs. J. C. Kelley of Anselmo. The Hamilton family have resided here since May 1917 when they bought a farm on the west side of Albion. Funeral services were held from St. Michael's Catholic church on Tuesday morning. Pallbearers were Dale Smith, Leo Tobin, John Harsch, Aloysious Kelley, John Flannagan and H. J. Jepsen. (The Albion Argus, Albion, Nebraska, Thursday, March 28, 1935)
