We have lost a woman who stood high in the minds of all, and everybody was considered her friends. Ella Karr was born June 8th, 1878, at Wallingford, Ill. Karr Mrs. Ella Zimmerman Called To The Beyond Mrs. Ella Zimmerman died at her home two and one half miles west of Blue Hill, Friday morning at five o'clock. We have lost a woman who stood high in the minds of all, and everybody was considered her friends. Ella Karr was born June 8th, 1878, at Wallingford, Ill. In March 18888 she moved here with her parents and has resided here ever since. In 1903 was married to John Zimmerman. She is survived by a husband, mother, father, four brothers and two sisters. They have sincere sympathy of all the people of the community upon the loss of their wife and sister and mourn with them in their affiction (sic). The out of town relatives that were present at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. W. Stiffer, of Mahattan (sic), Ill., Mrs. A. Stock and children and Philip Zimmerman of Washington, Ill., Mrs. And Mrs. G. Radcrist and Miss Emma Arter of Aurora, Ill. The funeral services were held at the Christian church Sunday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. C.F. Rose.
