Description	:	Obituary - Mary Ellen Howsden, nee Ingmire, was born Nov. 25, 1863, in the state of Indiana and died at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 10, being 63 years, 11 months and 15 days of age. She, with her parents, moved to Harlan county in 1879. She was married to Jack Howsden on March 4, 1885, to which union were born nine children, of whom seven survive the mother. Mrs. Howsden was converted in early life and joined the Free Methodist church, later uniting with the M.E. church. For several years her health has been such that she could not attend the services of the church. The end came quite suddenly, when the messenger called her to the world beyond. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and children: Mrs. Walter Watts and Mrs. Elmer McCorkle of Ft. Morgan, Colo.; Mrs. Wm. Scheske, of Huntley; Bert, Arthur and Oscar of Alma; Charley of Omaha and Freddie at home; also her sisters and brothers. Noah and Frank Ingmire of Huntley; William Ingmire of Ragan; Charley Ingmire of Ft. Morgan, Colo.; Della Howsden and Mrs. Jane Murphy of Huntley. Vinia Tillitson, passed away. Besides the immediate family she leaves a large circle of friends, who sorrow with her loved ones. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Adams of the Evangelical church.
