WALLACE Mary Ellen McQuigg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. K. McQuigg deceased, was born May 28, 1870, at Geneva, Kansas, and died Dember 8, 1928 at age of fifty-eight years, six months, and ten days. The date of her death was the same as that of her father thirteen years before. On October 9, 1895, she was married to William W. Wallace at Geneva, Kansas. To this union were born six children: Ernest Leon, Homer Harold, Hazel Grace, Edith May, Dorothy Alene, and Leonard Lee. Her husband and all the children survive her, and were with her at the time of her death. She is survived also by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ernest L. Wallace; one grandchild, Keith Leon Wallace, of Ames, Iowa, and one brother, Mr. V. A. McQuigg, of Iola, besides a host of other relatives and friends. She became a member of the church when she was a young girl, and has been a devout Christian ever since, and a true Christian mother. She has spent most of her life in Allen county. She was born, married, and died in the same house.-Contributed.
