Description	:	Mrs. Mary E. Wilson Mrs. Mary E. Wilson, widow of the late George R. Wilson, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lottie Lawson, in the Calvary neighborhood at approximately 6:00 o'clock last Friday evening, after an illness of some time. Mrs. Wilson, who was eighty-six years of age, was the daughter of George and Nancy Elliott, of Suffolk. Wilson, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lottie Lawson, in the Calvary neighborhood at approximately 6:00 o'clock last Friday evening, after an illness of some time. Mrs. Wilson, who was eighty-six years of age, was the daughter of George and Nancy Elliott, of Suffolk. An outstanding woman, greatly loved by all who knew her, Mrs. Wilson possessed many sterling traits of character and could boast of a legion of warm friends. Though in ill health for a number of years, she was never known to complain, and accepted her afflictions with real Christian fortitude. Of a cheerful disposition, she always had a warm greeting and a beaming smile for everyone. Possessing a charitable nature, Mrs. Wilson delighted in helping those less fortunate than herself and often did she assist the stranger at her door in every way possible. In her death Crisfield, and Somerset county as a whole, has lost one of its sweetest and most respected citizens. Surviving are four sons, Ira A. Wilson and Jesse Wilson, of Crisfield; George W. Wilson of Baltimore and John H. Wilson, of Cape Charles, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Julia Frances Mister and Mrs. Lottie Lawson, of Crisfield, and Mrs. Isabelle Trader, of Sanford, Va., and one step-daughter, Mrs. Albert Sterling. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the Asbury Methodist Church with the pastor, J. T. Rowlenson, officiating. Interment was in Asbury Cemetery.
