Read More	Latimer Woman Called Mrs. Mary Guldberg Passed Away Last Week Mrs. Mary Guldberg died at her home, in Latimer, last Sunday evening, December 19, 1920 after a long and lingering illness. She was born in Denmark, May 2, 1874 to Martin and Ellen Ravnskjaer Hansen, and with her parents came to this country when only five years old in July of 1880. While a young girl, Mrs. Guldberg was studious and after many hardships secured the necessary education in the Hampton schools and taught school for a few years or until she was married to Peter O. Guldberg, November 20, 1894. To this union ten children were born, nine boys and one girl. Mrs. Guldberg's hardships were made doubly hard when she lost her husband about eleven years ago thru an accident. While the burden of bringing up a large family was perhaps great enough when both were living, the accident conveyed all the family responsibilities on her until last spring when she was compelled to give up work on account of failing health. A part of the time since then she has been at a hospital in Hampton with the hope that special care and medical assistance would restore her health. She was a good mother, kind neighbor, and a loyal friend. She will never be forgotten as she was ever ready to lend a helping hand where help was needed, even though her own burdens were almost more than she could bear.
