Survivors include her son, Thomas and his wife, Madeline, of Riceville; one grandson, William Deegan of Mason City; one sister, Florence Lewis, and a brother, Roland Priestley, both of Puget Sound, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, "Bill" on January 19, 1996; a son, Charles Sooter; two brothers, Leonard and Johans; and two sisters, Shirley and Katy.
