Description	:	Mary E. Oldaker, daughter of Isaac and Catherine Oldaker, was born July 30, 1836, and died at her home in Milton, Iowa Tuesday, March 6, 1917, at 11:30 pm, being 80 years, 7 months and six days old. On January 26, 1854, she was married to John L. Kirkhart, who preceded her in death, Feb. 23, 1907. To this union were born seven children, four girls and three boys, all of them living. Oldaker, daughter of Isaac and Catherine Oldaker, was born July 30, 1836, and died at her home in Milton, Iowa Tuesday, March 6, 1917, at 11:30 pm, being 80 years, 7 months and six days old. On January 26, 1854, she was married to John L. Kirkhart, who preceded her in death, Feb. 23, 1907. To this union were born seven children, four girls and three boys, all of them living. All except one son were with her most of the time during her last illness, also two granddaughters, Della and Mabel, who had always made their home with Grandma. The one son was unable to be with her on account of illness in his own home. Fifty-nine years ago she united with the M. E. church and ever after was a faithful follower of the Lord and Saviour, the last words she ever spoke were: "I am going home to Heaven." She was a kind and loving mother and beloved by all her acquaintances. She leaves to mourn her death besides her own children, twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, by whom she will be greatly missed. Following are the names of the children and their homes: W. J. Kirkhart, Cantril, Iowa; J. W. Kirkhart, Holly, Colorado; L. S. Kirkhart, Boyd, Montana; Mrs. Henrietta Morris, Keosauqua, Iowa; Mrs. Ella Alston, Carson, Iowa, and Mrs. Kate Corwin, Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services were held Friday, March 9, 1917, at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Hankins. Interment in Sunnyside Cemetery. We wish to thank the friends and neighbors for their kind assistance during the sickness and death of our dear mother, especially the Ladies' Aid, also the Rutheans of Keosauqua, for their beautiful floral offering.
