Description	:	Mrs. Mary Glahn Mrs. Mary Glahn, daughther of Joseph and Rosena Forrer, was born on October 3, 1880, in the New Basel community. On August 29, 1899, she was married to August Glahn, and four children were born: August Glahn or Carlon, Henry Glahn of Gypsum, Ida Book of Abilene, and John Glahn of Denver Colorado. About 35 years ago Mrs. Glahn and her husband moved to Abilene. Mr. Glahn died in 1932. Mrs. Glahn continued to live in Abeline until her death at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital August 10, 1959, at the age of 78 years, nine months and seven days. Mrs.... Mrs. Glahn continued to live in Abeline until her death at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital August 10, 1959, at the age of 78 years, nine months and seven days. Mrs. Glahn was confirmed in the New Basel Church in 1896, and was faithful member of the church and of the Ladies Aid until illness prevented her attendance. She leaves four children, nin grandchildren, eight grand-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs Henry Kamm, Mrs, Ida Strunk, and Mrs, Rose Lauxman, a host of other relative and friends. Funeral services were held August 12, at the Danner Funeral Home and at the New Basel Church. Burial was at the Abilene Cemetry.
