Description	:	Mary Frances Myers Mary Frances Aylor Myers, 76, a resident of Annapolis since 1942, died Aug. 14 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. The cause of death was not available. Mrs. Myers was born in Aylor, Va., daughter of the late Daniel Rufus and Lucy Caroline Hawkins Aylor, and graduated from Criglersville, Va., High School. She briefly taught home economics be fore marrying Joseph R. "Joe" Myers in 1942. In 1963 she started working in the cafeteria of Rolling Knolls Elemen tary School and then became man ager of the South Shore Elementary School cafeteria. The cause of death was not available. Mrs. Myers was born in Aylor, Va., daughter of the late Daniel Rufus and Lucy Caroline Hawkins Aylor, and graduated from Criglersville, Va., High School. She briefly taught home economics be fore marrying Joseph R. "Joe" Myers in 1942. In 1963 she started working in the cafeteria of Rolling Knolls Elemen tary School and then became man ager of the South Shore Elementary School cafeteria. She retired in 1987 after serving as manager of the Bates Junior High School cafeteria for many years. A member since 1949 of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, formerly Edward's Chapel, she was active in the United Methodist Women, taught nursery school for a number of years and held many church offices. She was a teacher and superintendent of the vacation Bible school and the Sunday school. Cooking, baking, needlecrafts and her family were her interests. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Hilda F. Whittington of Davidsonville, Dorothy M. Bull of Edgewater, Fay E. Butcher of Madison, Va., and Teresa C. Foster of Severn; two brothers, Russell Aylor of Madison and Harry Aylor of Spotsylvania, Va.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Hardesty Funeral Home, 12 Ridgely Ave. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and at 11 a.m. Thursday at Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Aylor followed by burial in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. Published August 16, 1999 in THE CAPITAL, Annapolis, Maryland.
