Description	:	Mary Frances Flower, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Dyer, was born in Holden, Mo., September 25, 1867, and departed this life at her home in Nelson, Nebraska, November 27, 1926, at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 2 days. When twenty years of age she with the family emigrated to Nebraska, locating at Brownville. On September 25, 1890, she was married to Mr. W.K. Flower in Harbine, Nebraska. Read More	Mary Frances Flower, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Dyer, was born in Holden, Mo., September 25, 1867, and departed this life at her home in Nelson, Nebraska, November 27, 1926, at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 2 days. When twenty years of age she with the family emigrated to Nebraska, locating at Brownville. On September 25, 1890, she was married to Mr. W.K. Flower in Harbine, Nebraska. They settled in the same town for five years after which they moved to Kansas City. Later they returned to Nebraska, living at different places until the year 1917, when they came to Nelson, where they have made their home ever since. To this home came nine children, two of whom only remain to mourn the loss of a good mother. While living at Harbine, Mrs. Flower made a rofession (sic) of her Faith in Christ and united with the Congregational church of that city. She has been a silent sufferer for some twenty years, yet bore it all through the years with fortitude and patience, trusting in her new found Lord. Mrs. Flower was a kind and dutiful wife and a loving mother, always ready to do her part so far as her health permitted her. On May 9th of this year she was stricken with paralysis and then again a severe attack on Sabbath, November 21st, from which she was unable to recover. What we owe to these dutiful, patient, self-sacrificing and praying mothers is a debt that will never be paid in tthis (sic) world. The tender memory of Mother is unto her children a Svor of life unto life." They give themselves so unreservedly and most willingly unto their families. If every one would fill her position to the full as a real mother the world would be better than it is today. She bespeaks those virtues that make the world worth while to live in: patience, unselfishness, duty and love. She leaves to mourn her loss her two sons Claud (sic) and Alfred living in Nelson; three brothers, Thomas Dyer, Lincoln, Homer and William Dyer of Los Angeles, California; three grand children and a host of friends. My Jesus as thou wilt, All shall be well for me; Each changing future scene, I gladly trust with thee; Straight to my home above I travel calmly on, And sing in life or death-- My Lord They will be done.
