Mary was born on August 20, 1935, at Nashua, Iowa, the daughter of Gordon and Helen (Dann) James. She graduated from Nashua High School in 1953. Read More	Mary Helen Ohl, 56, passed away Thursday morning, April 9, 1992 at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City, Iowa. Mary was born on August 20, 1935, at Nashua, Iowa, the daughter of Gordon and Helen (Dann) James. She graduated from Nashua High School in 1953. After graduation, she worked in Cedar Falls, IA, as a telephone operator for Northwestern Bell, then she worked for Rath’s for approximately five years. On May 23, 1954, Mary Helen married, Donald J. Rowzee of Cedar Falls. They owned and operated a restaurant and ballroom in Raymond, Ia. She later worked for Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids. On November 26, 1966, she married Howard Ohl at the Little Brown Church. They moved to Goshen, Indiana, where she worked for the Coachman Corporation, making campers for about eight years. She later purchased an antique shop in Sumner, Ia. that she operated for two years. Mary moved to California, where she worked as an assistant manager for the Village Inn Motel. In 1990, she returned to Nashua for health reasons. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Rodney and Cindy Rowzee of Palm Springs, Ca; two grandchildren; William Earl and Caitlin Rose Rowzee of Palm Springs, Ca.; her mother: Helen (Dann) Springer of Nashua; a step-brother, Larry Springer of Nashua; and two sisters: Earlyn Adelmund and Charlotte Junker, both of Nashua. Mary was preceded in death by her father: Gordon James; a sister; Virginia Minikus of Omaha, Neb. in 1991 and her step-father; Earl Springer, in 1980 and an infant half-brother, Roy George Springer.
