Description	:	Mrs. Mary H. Glass died Friday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wilma Mefford, south of town, after a very short illness. The funeral services were held Sunday. After a short service at the home, the remains were taken to Bethel Christian church, near Delta, where the regular services were held and the body interred. Rev. T.E. Sherman, pastor of the Hedrick Presbyterian Church, had charge of the service. Mary Helen Surber was born January 29, 1842. She was married to John Magers in 1861, and six daughters were born to them: Lizzie, Sarah, Ollie, Alice, Maude and Mertie, three of whom, Mrs. Wilma Mefford, Mrs. George H. Fleener and Mrs. E. Caldwell, with three brothers, three sisters and the aged mother, still survive. Mr. Magers died twenty-one years ago, and after living a widow four years, Mrs. Magers was married to James Glass, who died seven years last March. Mrs. Glass was converted eighteen years ago, and united with the Christian Church while living east of Martinsburg. She was a good mother and a kind friend and neighbor, widely known and universally respected. The bereaved daughters desire to publicly thank the friends and neighbors for their aid and sympathy during their affliction.
