Interment was made in the family plot in the local cemetery. Appeal Democrat, April 17, 1940 Mrs. Albertson, 82, dies at Meridian Mrs. Mary Howard Albertson, widow of the late J.C. Albertson, died Saturday at her home in Meridian, funeral services being held there Monday afternoon. She was one of the most widely known residents of the river community, and one of the most highly esteemed. She was a native of Yolo county, aged 82 years. surviving her are four sons, Edward P. of Sutter, Lester C. of San Jose, Frank C. of San Francisco, and Royce W. of Sacramento. A brother, Ben Watson of Williams, and two half brothers, Rodney and Leslie Ely of Folsom, also survive. She leaves five grandchild. Mrs. Albertson was prominent in the social and civic affairs of her community for years. She was a member of the Methodist church, the Aid Society, the Methodist club and Lilac Rebehak lodge
