Blatter, Floyd Gilmer, D. G. Howell and Adrian Ewing. Mrs. Gilmer was born in Franklin, New Jersey, November 21, 1857. When three years old her parents moved to Dyersville, Iowa, where she grew to womanhood. After attending Epworth Seminary she taught school until the family moved to Albion, Nebraska, in February 1889. Desiring to teach in Nebraska she enrolled in the Albion high school and graduated in the first class in June 1890. Mrs. Gilmer was a loyal member of the Methodist church. In the early days Sunday found her in her usual place at the church organ. In recent years she was a regular attendant of the Loyal Sunday school class. Mrs. Raymond H. Keliner, niece of Mrs. Gilmer, and the only surviving relative, came from Tuscon, Arizona, to the funeral.
