Mary Sankot, daughter of John and Katherine Frydrichsovsky Sankot, was born at Vining September 15, 1870 and died at about 4 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 1961 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, the Charles G. Dvoraks, where she had made her home for some time. Death was due to old age and complications. On September 21, 1886 she was united in marriage to Joseph Dvorak at Toledo, and he preceded her in death in July, 1938. Following their marriage, they lived on a farm west of Irving until 1914 when they retired and came to Belle Plaine and made their home at 1508 Third avenue. She is survived by one son, Charles G. Dvorak, and one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Vlasta) Weaver, both of Belle Plaine; seven grandchildren, Arthur Dvorak. Fairmont, Minnesota, Charles, Edward and Robert Dvorak, Sidney, Edward and Charles Weaver, all in or near Belle Plaine; 19 great grandchildren and two nephews, Otto B. Sankot and F. J. Sankot, Belle Plaine. Marie Christman will be organist and Dick Gatrelle, soloist Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
