Interment was in the Cemetery in Grant. Mary Boyce was born in Ireland on October 25, 1853 and came to this country in her childhood, locating in Wisconsin. She was married to Bernard Mullen on August 20, 1871 and they moved to Charles City, Iowa, then to Cass County and from there to Montgomery County several years ago. They celebrate their 64th wedding anniversary last August. Besides her husband, Mrs. Mullen leaves six children. They are Charles, Cumberland, Iowa, Owen and John, Grant; Allen, Bedford, Mrs. J. A. Johnson, Red Oak, and Mrs. Mildred Bashaw, Elliott. She leaves also a brother, Charles Boyce of Minneapolis, 22 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
