Description	:	Mary Jane's husband, Jonathan, was the son of Rhoda nee Kittredge and Amahiah Porter, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio March 6, 1831 and had two children with his first wife, Hyla St. John: 1) Anna B. October 30, 1835-February 27, 1909 2) Fannie August 1, 1844-February 18, 1904 Shortly after Hyla's death in Indiana, Jonathan married Mary Jane Delap (daughter of Nancy nee Kelsey and George Delap) August 16, 1846 in Owen County, Indiana and they had five children: 1) George Oliver October 1847-1925 2) Kittredge February 17, 1849-February 26, 1913 3) Kelsey February 17, 1849-November 20, 1897 4) Jonathan February 27, 1854-October 16, 1928 5) Matilda Before 1858-About... In early 1861, Jonathan became ill and wanted to return to Indiana where he died near Quincy, Owen County. On the trip back to Indiana when her father was ill, Matilda fell from the moving ox cart and the heavy wheel passed over her head crushing it. After Jonathan's death, on August 22, 1861 Mary Jane married David Worley in Owen County, Indiana which soon ended in divorce. The fall of 1863, the family moved to Shelby County, Illinois where Jonathan's brother, Zephariah Porter, and family lived. They were there for a couple of years and then moved back to Greene County, Iowa to the land Jonathan had left for them. In Green County, Iowa, she married Peter Breiner on February 26, 1866 which also ended in divorce.
