Description	:	Mary Jane Ford was the daughter of James Ford and Blanche West. She was born November 30, 1776 near Perryman, St. George's Parish, Spesutia Lower Hundred, Harford Co. Maryland. She died January 31, 1848 near Westminster, Auglaize Twp. Allen Co. Ohio. She married Francis Stevenson on December 24, 1800 at Mason Co. Kentucky. They lived in various counties in Ohio, such as Ross, Greene, Clark and Champaign. In 1829, her husband built a cabin in Section 17 in Auglaize Twp. Allen Co. Ohio. She was born November 30, 1776 near Perryman, St. George's Parish, Spesutia Lower Hundred, Harford Co. Maryland. She died January 31, 1848 near Westminster, Auglaize Twp. Allen Co. Ohio. She married Francis Stevenson on December 24, 1800 at Mason Co. Kentucky. They lived in various counties in Ohio, such as Ross, Greene, Clark and Champaign. In 1829, her husband built a cabin in Section 17 in Auglaize Twp. Allen Co. Ohio. In March 1830 they moved and settled in Auglaize Twp. Allen Co. Ohio. Her father, James Ford was a Revolutionary War soldier as a Matross in Captain William Brown's Company of Virginia First Artillery under the comand of Colonel Charles Harrison in General Henry Knox Artillery Brigade. He also was at Valley Forge during the encampment in 1777-1778 in the Virginia First Artillery as a Matross. It would appear from the Tax Lists for Mason Co. Kentucky that James Ford died in 1796 or 1797 in that county. James Ford paid taxes in Mason Co., Kentucky in 1793 thru 1796. Blanche Ford began paying taxes in Mason Co., Kentucky in 1797.
