Lanning is survived by three sisters, Margaret Taylor, Katherine Tome and Theresa Muhvich and husband Frank, all Ely, MN., and several nieces and nephews, including a special nience and caregiver, Marianne Ochletree, Victor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sept, 18, 2008; her parents; one sister, Francis Thoren; three brothers-in-law, Claude Taylor, Roger Thoren and Frank Tome, and one nephew, John Taylor.
