Description	:	Mary Jane BRANDLY, Age 86, of College Corner, Ohio died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford. She was born in Butler County, Ohio on December 30, 1919 to Orie and Martha Starr Ludlow. She had lived in College Corner all her married life. She was very active in many areas of the College Corner United Methodist Church. She was in the older adult ministries, which prepared luncheons and worked in preparation of information concerning adults. Read More	Mary Jane BRANDLY, Age 86, of College Corner, Ohio died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford. She was born in Butler County, Ohio on December 30, 1919 to Orie and Martha Starr Ludlow. She had lived in College Corner all her married life. She was very active in many areas of the College Corner United Methodist Church. She was in the older adult ministries, which prepared luncheons and worked in preparation of information concerning adults. She also was a member of the choir, a member of the FFF club, a member of the United Methodist Women, and a member of the Home Economics club in Union County. She loved to crochet, work word puzzles and baking. She graduated from Morgan County High School in Okeana, Ohio. Also, she and her husband owned a carpet business for years, loved refinishing furniture and farmed for twenty-five years. Survivors include one daughter, two grandsons, six great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, whom she married on August 17, 1940 and he died in November of 1990, one son-n-law; James Caldwell who died in July of 2002 and one great grandchild, Katelyn Caldwell who died in 1990. Funeral services will be conducted at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Baker Chapel, College Corner, Ohio 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2006 with Reverend Mick Miller and Reverend Dean VanWinkle officiating. Interment will follow at the College Corner Cemetery. Published in Journal-News on Aug. 11, 2006
