Description	:	Mary Jane Flory (Peters), daughter of Charles and Mary (Montgomery) Peters, was born February 2, 1934 in Miami County, Ohio. She peacefully passed from this life at Mercy Health with hospice care on October 23, 2021 at the age of, 87. On August 2, 1952 she was united in marriage to Howard Thomas Flory, of Elida, Ohio, enjoying more than 65 yrs. together until his passing on January 29, 2018. Read More	Mary Jane Flory (Peters), daughter of Charles and Mary (Montgomery) Peters, was born February 2, 1934 in Miami County, Ohio. She peacefully passed from this life at Mercy Health with hospice care on October 23, 2021 at the age of, 87. On August 2, 1952 she was united in marriage to Howard Thomas Flory, of Elida, Ohio, enjoying more than 65 yrs. together until his passing on January 29, 2018. She was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Mother and Dad were engaged in farming, living most of their married life on the farm where Howard grew up. She made many lasting relationships doing hand sewing for the young Sisters of the Church. She especially enjoyed the grandchildren and the little ones from her Church family that often came to visit. She is survived by, two daughters; Steve and Marilyn Kingery and Ken and Martha Orndorff, one daughter-in-law; Cheryl Flory, Nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one sister; Elsie Mae Flory, one brother, Donald and Beverly Peters, brothers and sisters-in-law; Carl Wagoner, Virginia and Allen Miller, Betty Fisher, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Ronald Thomas Flory; brothers, Raymond and Evelyn Peters, David Peters; sisters, Hazel Wagoner, Lucille and Charles Miller, brothers and sisters-in-law; Lester and Velma Flory, Emma and Cabel Montgomery, Dale Fisher, John Elmer Flory. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Interment will immediately follow the services in Ash Grove Cemetery.
