Description	:	Mary Jane Whynot 1948 Bridgewater Bulletin On Wednesday morning, October 6th., there passed to her eternal rest, Mrs. Mary Jane Whynot, widow of Freeman Whynot of New Germany. Although in failing health for many years death came as a shock to her relatives and many friends. Mrs. Whynot was born in North River in August, 1875, daughter of the late Samuel and Amanda Goucher Robar. Although in failing health for many years death came as a shock to her relatives and many friends. Mrs. Whynot was born in North River in August, 1875, daughter of the late Samuel and Amanda Goucher Robar. There remain to mourn the loss of a devoted mother, two daughters, Maud, Mrs. Leo Morton, Barss Corner; and May, Mrs. Edward Ernst, New Germany; and two sons, Oran of New Germany; and Morrel, on the old homestead at New Germany. Her husband predeceased her 19 years ago. She was a faithful member of the Anglican Church. The services were conducted by her rector, Rev. W.R. Martell, who spoke comfortingly from John 11:25," I am the resurrection and the life." The body was laid to rest on Friday beside her late husband in Riverside Cemetery. Hymns sung were "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "A Few More Years Shall Roll." With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
