Read More	HINGHAM AMERICAN, Hingham, MT, Feb. 20, 1919 MARY JANE (WALKER) SORENSON Mrs. Oscar Sorenson passed away at Havre on Monday night after a short illness. She gave birth to a baby a short time ago and was getting on well for a time but had a relapse and was taken to Havre last Wednesday, February 12. The news of her death was a shock to the whole town and district as she was respected and loved by all with whom she came in contact. She was born in the State of Pennsylvania 19 years ago and came to Montana with the rest of her relatives who located on a homestead at Goldstone in 1913. She spent a great part of her time in Hingham where she was well-known and a general favorite on account of her quiet, cheerful, unassuming disposition. In December 1918, she was married to Oscar Sorenson, who owns the Hingham Garage. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the Woodmen are to turn out in a body at the funeral this afternoon. These organizations as well as many other individuals ordered flowers for the funeral as a token of their respect and esteem. The heartfelt sympathy of the whole community goes out to the bereaved husband and child and all the other relatives in their great sorrow. -------- Note: Child was a daughter, Mae (Nickens)
