Description	:	Mary Jo Elledge was born Jan. 7, 1912, at Oak, Neb., the daughter of Frank and Tena Sefl Nedbal. She died Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital of heart failure at the age of 72 years and 10 days. During her girlhood days, she lived at Oak with her parents who had immigrated to the United States from Bohemia. She graduated from the Oak school in May, 1928. Read More	Mary Jo Elledge was born Jan. 7, 1912, at Oak, Neb., the daughter of Frank and Tena Sefl Nedbal. She died Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital of heart failure at the age of 72 years and 10 days. During her girlhood days, she lived at Oak with her parents who had immigrated to the United States from Bohemia. She graduated from the Oak school in May, 1928. She was united in marriage with Kenneth Elledge at Belleville Sept. 8, 1928. The family home has been in the Superior area since that time. This marriage was blessed with two sons, Stanley and Ronald. Her husband preceded her in death May 22, 1967. Also preceding her in death were her parents and two infant daughters. Mrs. Elledge had worked at several places in Superior through the years including Armour Company, for the public school system, at local cafes and for the hotel. Survivors include her sons, Stanley and Ron, Superior; three sisters, Mrs. Cecil Stuck (Mildred) and Tillie Stevens, both of Hastings, and Mrs. Kenneth Sibert (Sedonia), Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Mrs. Kenneth Heitman (Pamela) of Webber, Mrs. Roger Lemke (Marcia) and Timothy Elledge, Hastings, and Steven Elledge, Superior; six great- grandchildren, Joshue Heitman, Heath, Nathan, Michelle and Michaela Lemke and Nicholas Elledge; and many other relatives. The funeral was Friday, Jan. 20, 2 p.m., at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Miller, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, Red Cloud, officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
