She was born June 23, 1938, to John E. and Ruby M. North Fink at Quinter. She married Marvin L. parks July 9, 1961 in Utica. He survives. She had been a business instructor for 15 years and had been secretary to the superintendent and principal for 11 years at Hoisington. she had lived in Hoisington 26 years. She was a member of the Hoisington First Christian Church, National Business Education Association, Delta Pi Epsilon and the American Association of University Women. She was past matron of OES # 119, Hoisington. Other survivors include her son Keith Parks, Overland Park, daughter Lori Parks, Lubbock, Texas, and her mother, Ruby Fink, Utica. She is preceded in death by a brother, Don Fink. The funeral, which will include an OES ceremony, will be 10:30 a. m. Tuesday at the Hoisington First Christian Church. Burial will be in the Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may call 1-9 p. m. Sunday and 9-9 Monday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington. Memorials have been established with her church, the Clara Barton Foundation or the American Lung Association.
