She was united in marriage to Floyd Quinn in 1928 and they farmed in the Beaver City area until moving to Edison in 1946 where she resided until her death. When Mary was a child her family moved to Furnas County, NE and farmed near Beaver City. She was united in marriage to Floyd Quinn in 1928 and they farmed in the Beaver City area until moving to Edison in 1946 where she resided until her death. She leaves to mourn her passing three sons: Alonzo Quinn and his wife, Norma Jean, of Oxford, Gerald "Buzzy" Quinn and his wife, Joan, of Shelton, NE and Dennis Quinn and his wife, Jan, of Hay Springs, NE; 8 grandchildren: Tuwanna Hammond and Lonnie "Boots" Quinn both of Oxford, Rick Quinn of Meeker, CO, Terry Quinn of Oxford, Vicky Luke of Curtis, NE, Michael Quinn of Grand Island, and Bo Quinn and Kaycee Quinn both of Hay Springs; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Lawrence Willey and his wife, Shorty, of Hay Springs, James Willey and his wife, Wyoma, of Denver and Norris Willey and his wife, Lola, of Arapahoe, NE; two sisters Faye Chitwood of Indianola, NE and Deveda Cooper and her husband, Carl, of Ogallala, NE and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by one brother, Glen Willey and two sisters Ruth Widney and Eva Menze. Services were conducted from the Christian Church in Edison, NE on Dec. 13, 1988, with Rev F A Hand officiating. Jim and Sue Kerr were vocalists with Ella French the organist. Pallbearers were Robert Shaffer, Donald Paine, Mike Herrick, Terry Draper, Donald Adams, and Bill Hays. Interment was in the Oxford Cemetery with Mitchell-Nelson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
