Read More	Mrs. Mary Healey Dies in Wyoming Ed Healey received the sad news by wire on Tuesday evening of the passing away of his mother, Mrs. Mary Healey, which occurred at 2:15 that afternoon at Sheridan, Wyo. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Roberts, who has cared for her since her removal to Wyoming from Creighton. She had been ailing for six or seven years and her death was due to her advanced age, she having attained ninety four years. The greater part of her life was spent in Creighton and on a farm near this city. The remains will arrive here today (Thursday) from Wyoming and the funeral will be held on Friday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Ludger Catholic church, Rev. Windolph having charge of the services. The remains will be taken to its last resting place in the Catholic cemetery, beside her husband, who passed on a number of years ago. The News joins with the many friends and relatives of this family in extending sincere sympathy. ...The Creighton News 19 Nov 1925 ******** Mrs. Mary Healey Laid to Rest The remains of Mrs. Mary Healey, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Roberts in Sheridan, Wyo., were brought to Creighton Thursday afternoon and the funeral was held from the St. Ludger Catholic church on Friday morning at 9 o'clock. Father Windolph had charge of the services and spoke eloquently of the life of this estimable woman. Quite a number of friends were present at the last rites. Mary Kelly was born at Bellana, Ireland, Nov. 26, 1831* and was nearly ninety four years of age. In the year 1853 she was united in marriage to Anthony Healey. They came to America in 1865, locating at Scranton, Pa., where they resided until the years 1877, when they came to Nebraska and lived on a homestead seven miles northwest of Creighton. Mr. and Mrs. Healey were among the early settlers of this locality and endured many of the hardships of the pioneer days and we recite an incident of those days: Mr. and Mrs. Healey with their nine children lived in a one room sod house during the winters of 1877-78 and later erected a small frame house. In all, ten children were born born to Mr. and Mrs. Healey, five of which survive: Pat Healey of Blair; Mrs. John Scully of Sioux City, Ia.; Martin L.
