Description	:	Mary, 97, died at 5:15 a.m., at St. Rita’s Inpatient Hospice, following complications from surgery. She was the daughter of Elza and Mabel (McClure) Hall. On June 19, 1938, she married W. Weldon LaRue, who preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Ronald (Donna), Knoxville, TN; three daughters: Myrna (Dwain) Metzger, Elida, Carol (William) Evans, Knoxville, TN, and Elaine (Kermit) Gladfelter, Lenoir City, TN; four sisters-in-law: Frances Hall, Opal Harvey, Hope Kaliher and Norma Lillie; and eleven grandchilldren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was a dedicated member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Elida, and was a member of the choir for over 50 years. Together with her husband, she loved camping and gardening. During her residency at Elmcroft she enjoyed playing Bingo and Skip-Bo. Services will be at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel, with Pastor Paul Scannell officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
