Mary Lou was born in Bowman, SC and was a daughter of the late Charles Wesley Austin, Sr. and the late Jessie Cherry Austin. She had retired from Colonial and later Big Star grocery store as a bookkeeper. Read More	Mary Lou Austin Kelley of Orangeburg, SC, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 after a brief illness. Mary Lou was the wife of the late A. C. “Pat” Kelley. Mary Lou was born in Bowman, SC and was a daughter of the late Charles Wesley Austin, Sr. and the late Jessie Cherry Austin. She had retired from Colonial and later Big Star grocery store as a bookkeeper. She was a long time member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and worked in the Children's Nursery. She was a member of the Joy Club and a member of the Doe's of the Elks Lodge #897 in Orangeburg. Survivors include her son: Billy Kelley (JoAnn); granddaughters: Ashby Branham O'Cain (Chris), Kimberly Kelley and Jill Kelley Beasenburg (Mark); great granddaughters: Abigail Beasenburg and Till O'Cain; sister: Gracie LaCombe; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter: Cyndi Kelley Branham. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, with the Dr. Rev. Linda Dunn and Rev. Kristen Frick officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Orangeburg. The family will receive friends before the service in the church Sanctuary, beginning at 10 AM. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Charley Ayers, Danny Austin, Denny Branham, Jerry Hackworth, Jessie Myers, and Danny Dantzler. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1356 Amelia Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115. Dukes Harley Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
