Also surviving are children, Terri (Brian) Westfield of Lucas, OH, Richard Mengerink II of Napoleon, Mark (Michelle) Mengerink of Beaumont, TX; grandchildren, Bryan and Andrew Mengerink of Napoleon, Hannah and Dana Westfield of Lucas, OH; great grandchildren, Zane, Carrin and Blaine Mengerink of Napoleon; siblings, CP (Donna) Cochran of Whitehouse, OH, Phil (Barb) Cochran of Napoleon, and George (Nicki) Cochran of Napoleon; numerous nieces and nephews and lots of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Jeff Mengerink. Mary Lou was a 4th grade teacher for Napoleon schools and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Napoleon. She was a graduate of the Ohio State University. She enjoyed coloring, computer games, writing poetry, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Akron Zips fan. She also enjoyed going to Barton Lake and spending time with her friends. Visitation for Mary Lou will be held on Monday May 2, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Walker-Hoening Mortuary, Napoleon where a Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
