Description	:	Mary Lou Clark, 77, of Luray, died on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at the Life Care Center of New Market. She was born on Aug. 2, 1935, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Edward Lee Knott and Neva Virginia Judd Knott. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Rileyville Church of the Brethren. She was born on Aug. 2, 1935, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Edward Lee Knott and Neva Virginia Judd Knott. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Rileyville Church of the Brethren. On Sept. 7, 1971, she married James Dale Clark, who survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Joyce Painter of Luray, and Doris Batman of Shenandoah; four sons, Roy Wood of Rileyville, Page Lee Wood and Lonnie Clark, both of Luray, and Mike Clark of Shenandoah; two sisters, Patsy McCoy of Stanley, and Edna McNeil of Luray; two brothers, Edward Lee Knott Jr. of Luray, and Russell Knott of Tennessee; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Knott. A funeral service was conducted on Sunday, Dec. 23, at the Mount Carmel Regular Baptist Church by the Rev. Eric Croft and Pastor Mark Hopkins. Burial was in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
