Description	:	She was born in Barnesville, Ohio April 23, 1844 and was the daughter of Robert and Sarah Williams and was a great grand-daughter of Robert Williams of Ruthin, North Wales, who settled in North Carolina in 1763. she was married to John C. Chandler, widow of the late J. C. Chandler, and former resident of Newton, passed away Friday, March 2 at Kansas City, Kansas at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. P. Webster where she had made her home for some time. Her death was preceded by a fall, the shock of which probably caused her death. Mrs. Chandler was ninety years of age and she and her family were valued residents of Newton for many years, the young people of the family growing to manhood and womanhood here, leaving here to establish their families. Mr. Chandler passed away in September, 1917 and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, where Mrs. Chandler will be laid to rest following a funeral service to be held at the Sprinker Mortuary, Monday afternoon at three o'clock, Rev. S. W. Keller, officiating. Those of the immediate family who survive her are Mrs. Delbert Moore, Boucette, Texas, Mrs. D. P. Webster, Kansas City, Kansas, Mrs. Howard Dunlavy, Benton, Kansas and E. P. Chandler, Lindsborg. C
