ExtendaCare, Rochester. She was born March 5, 1908, in Rochester to Charles and Geneva STINSON WYLIE. She married Walter BOWEN on July 26, 1930 in Athens. He preceded her in death on Aug. 20, 1986. She was a lifetime resident of Rochester. She and her husband owned the Evergreen Cafe for 34 years. She was a secretary for the Armour Creamery in Rochester and was a secretary for the late Dr. E.V. HERENDEEN, and for Charles RAUSCHKE State Farm Insurance Agency. She was a 60-year member of the Rochester Trinity United Methodist Church and longtime Sunday school teacher. She was an active member of the Rochester Order of the Eastern Star and the Evergreen Rebekah Lodge, playing piano for both. She was a longtime volunteer at Woodlawn Hospital. She was a charter member of the Homefront Club and a member of the Neighborly Club, The Rochester Women's Club and the Past Noble Grand Club. Survivors Include three daughters, Mrs. James (Joyce) WENINO, Plymouth, Mrs. Jacqueline ALLEN, Oldsmar, Fla., and Mrs. Walter (Sherry) BROWN, Brownsburg; one son, James L. BOWEN, Fish Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred BASLER South Bend, and Mrs. Harold (Helen) REESE, Rochester; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ward WYLIE. Funeral Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with Rev. Donald BRENNEMAN officiating. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery. Eastern Star Service will be at 7 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by Rebekah service. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and after 11 a.m. Sunday until services.
