They were the parents of Thomas, Albert, Eva Mae, and a daughter who died in infancy (born June 22, 1882). Jefferson Bee - Tuesday, April 24, 1951 - Bayard — Mrs. Mary McDonald passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jim H. Murrane, late Sunday afternoon, April 15. She met with an accident eight weeks ago when she fell and broke her hip. She was released from the hospital less than two weeks previous to her death. Mrs. McDonald had lived in Guthrie county 83 years with the exception of the few years they resided in Des Moines. She was the daughter of John and Eucebia Reeves and she was only five years old when her parents moved from Willow township to Highland township. The town of Bayard had not been laid out at that time. She was married to Thomas McDonald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick McDonald, on September 7, 1880. To this union four children were born. One died in infancy and two sons, Tommy and Bert preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James H. Murrane and three grandsons: Thomas Murrane of Milwaukee, Wisc., Pvt. James Murrane, Ft. Bliss, El Paso, Texas, and Paul Murrane, Iowa State college, Ames; and one great granddaughter, Melissa Murrane, Milwaukee, Wisc. Funeral services were held from the St. Patrick church, Wednesday at nine o'clock. The Rev. Father Perion of Scranton conducted the service. Casket bearers were Harry Howe, Arthur Moylan, William Murrane, David McKeon, Delos McGivney and Thomas Lyon, Sr. Interment was in Willow cemetery beside her husband.
