He preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1970. She is survived by two sons, Jackie D. McDaniel and wife, Kay, of Stanley, Douglas A. She was preceded in death by three children, David W. McDaniel, Connie Barrack, and Janet Lynne McDaniel. a son-in-law; a grandson, Rodney W. Cave; two sisters, Alma Painter and Pauline Stroupe and three brothers, Grafton, Earl and Hoover Hilliard. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Luray.
