Mrs. Thrailkill was born in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late Jeremiah Thurman and Dahlia Baggarly Mishoe. She was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Mrs. Thrailkill worked as a medical social worker for the Veterans Administration for thirty years serving in VA hospitals in Durham and Fayetteville, NC, Washington, DC, and Charleston, SC. She received several Commendation and Appreciation Awards for her work.... Mrs. Thrailkill was born in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late Jeremiah Thurman and Dahlia Baggarly Mishoe. She was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Mrs. Thrailkill worked as a medical social worker for the Veterans Administration for thirty years serving in VA hospitals in Durham and Fayetteville, NC, Washington, DC, and Charleston, SC. She received several Commendation and Appreciation Awards for her work. Since moving to Myrtle Beach in 1998, she has been a member of the First Presbyterian Church, participating in Sunday School and Women's activities. She is survived by a sister, Johann Mishoe McCrackin (Windell) of Myrtle Beach and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Frank Thrailkill, and her brother, Philip B. Mishoe. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 7th at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, with Dr. John Brearley officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Conway. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 1306, Myrtle Beach, SC 29578.
