Description	:	MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa - Mary Patricia "Pat" Rasmussen, 86, originally of Green Mountain, Iowa, passed away Nov. 14 at Grandview Heights Rehab and Healthcare in Marshalltown. Pat was born Nov. 4, 1925, to Elmer and Inez (Teeter) Gallentine in Marshalltown. She graduated from Green Mountain High School in 1943 and attended one year of nurses' training at Deaconess Hospital in Marshalltown. Pat was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Rasmussen on Nov. 23, 1946, in Hiawatha, Kan., and the couple began farming near Green Mountain. Pat was born Nov. 4, 1925, to Elmer and Inez (Teeter) Gallentine in Marshalltown. She graduated from Green Mountain High School in 1943 and attended one year of nurses' training at Deaconess Hospital in Marshalltown. Pat was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Rasmussen on Nov. 23, 1946, in Hiawatha, Kan., and the couple began farming near Green Mountain. They had two daughters, Paulette Lynn Bermudez and Linda Voss. Pat was a homemaker and a member of the Green Mountain United Church of Christ, where she was the long-time church organist. She was also a member of the Happy Hour Birthday Club, founded by her mother. Pat will be dearly missed by her daughter, Linda Voss, of Waterville, Maine; and her eight grandchildren, Scott Bermudez of New Orleans, La., Shannon Bermudez of San Francisco, Calif., Regan Dermu and husband Francois of San Mateo, Calif., Ryan Bermudez and wife Katie of San Carlos, Calif., Kirstin Williams and husband Philip of Sydney, Australia, Devin Bermudez and wife Amanda of Chicago, Ill., Brittany Bermudez of Iowa City, Iowa, and Tasha Bermudez of Washington, D.C. Also, she has a sister, Ruth Davis, of Omaha, Neb.; a son-in-law, Pompilio Bermudez, and wife Penny, of Marshalltown, who were there for her and attentive to her needs; and two recent great-grandsons, Landon and Gavin Bermudez, with a third one expected soon. In addition, Pat is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995; her daughter, Paulette Bermudez, in 1999; and her brother, Bud Gallentine.
