Read More	OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) Mary Pauline (Pratt) Roberts, 95, formerly of 142 Shady Lane Dr., Wabash, IN, died Feb. 1, 1999 at Millers Merry Manor East, Wabash, IN. She was born July 31, 1903 at Wabash, IN to Hugh Hamilton Pratt and Rosa Ethel (Miller) Pratt. She married Verne Howard Roberts Feb. 14, 1959 and he died Nov. 23, 1959 [10 months]. She was a member and former Sunday School teacher at the Wabash Christ United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross. She was also a member and past president of the Wabash Altrusa Club, a member since 1928 of the Wabash Rebekah Lodge #304 where she served as secretary for a number of years, and was a member of the Women's Clubhouse Association. A lifelong resident of Wabash County, she was a 1925 graduate of Chippewa High School; she retired from the F.W. Woolworth Company in Wabash after six years. She owned and operated Pratt Studios in Wabash for 30+ years. Survivors include three sisters - Ruth Huskey of Sault St. Marie, MI, Mrs. Howard (Emma) Enyeart of Wabash, and Mrs. Don (Bessie) Hoover of Syracuse, IN; and several nieces and nephews, including Jim and Carol Hoover of Peru, IN. Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Friends may call at Grandstaff-Hentgen Main Street Chapel in Wabash today (Wednesday) from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Main St. Chapel Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Don Crabill officiating. #Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, located at Wabash, IN. Preferred memorials are to American Red Cross or Christ United Methodist Church.
