Description	:	The Belle Plaine Union Thursday, September 21st, 1939 Page 3 Mrs. Vince Chamra passed away at her home, two and one half miles west of Vining Saturday morning at the age of 63 years, three months and 23 days. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from the house and 10 o'clock from St. Joseph's church in Chelsea with Father Panek in charge. Burial was in the Stayskal cemetery. Mary Pitka was born in Bohemia, September 28, 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Pitka and came to America with her parents at the age of six weeks and has spent most of her life in Tama county. She was married to Vince Chamra in 1886. She is survived by her husband and six children; Frank of Rose Hill, Mrs. Emma Enegar, Mrs. Agnes Cibula, Mrs. Blanche Vokoun, Mrs. Louise Kaufman, all of near Vining and James at home. One daughter, Anna, preceded her mother in death. Four brothers also survive her, Joseph Pitka of Gladstone, John Pitka of Tama, Frank Pitka of Nebraska and James Pitka of California.
