Description	:	On the 2nd day of August 1878 at half past six o'clock a.m. Mrs. Polly Cornwell consosrt of B.A. Cornwell terminated her long and useful life at her home in Eureka. The deceased was born August 10, 1818 in Wilson County, Tennessee and was sixty years old wanting 10 days. She removed in early life to Sullivan County, Ilinois and nearly five years since the family moved from there to this county, and about a year ago to Eureka. Read More	On the 2nd day of August 1878 at half past six o'clock a.m. Mrs. Polly Cornwell consosrt of B.A. Cornwell terminated her long and useful life at her home in Eureka. The deceased was born August 10, 1818 in Wilson County, Tennessee and was sixty years old wanting 10 days. She removed in early life to Sullivan County, Ilinois and nearly five years since the family moved from there to this county, and about a year ago to Eureka. Mrs. Cornwell was the mother of eleven children, two of died in infancy, one a young man drowned, one broke down in the Army and dwinded away and died, four died from sickness. The people of this place still remember well the deaths of two, Jennie and Belle, which occurred within the last ten months. She therefore leaves a husband and three children to mourn her death, but they sorrow not as those who have no hope, for Mrs. C. early heed the sacred admonition "Remember her now thy Creator in the days of thy youth," and had almost from childhood been a humble follower of the blessed Redeemer. Society loss a useful member, her husband a faithful companion and the children a kind and affectionate mother. May our kind Heavenly Father support them in this sad bereavement.
